After learning about Newton's first law we expect you to be able to:
 
 - Understand that the motion of an object cannot change unless acted upon.
 
  • Understand that an object can only change its speed or direction if there is an exterior net force.
  • Link the dirrection of two vectors that are related by a scaler.
  • Decouple velocity from accleration.
  • Understand that forces are an interaction between objects
  • Be able to add and subtract vectors
  • Understand and be able to describe inertia
  • Understand why an object's direction or speed change
