How do I use BoxSand?

Each main physics topic is listed in the sidebar. Under each main topic there is an Equation, Defintions, and Notations page that includes relavent information for that main topic. Following the Equations, Definitions, and Notations page are the sub-topics.

Sub-topics are broken down into 6 categories

1. Overview: This section will give you a basic introduction and overview of the sub-topic. You want to start here if you have never heard of the sub-topic

2. Fundamentals: Here you will informaiton to familiarize yourself with the topic before class. The main introuduction explains the sub-topic in more detail than the overview section, and we have provided primary and secondary content resources that should be view before class. Finally, there are simulations and fundamental examaples to get you some practice before class.

3. Nuts and Bolts: After the fundamentals section, information in the nuts and bolts section will provide you with an algorithm to help guide you when approaching physics problems from the sub-topic. Included here are the multiple representations that provide examples of different ways to approach the sub-topic. At the end, we provide some practice problem examples for you to pratice.

4. Tips and Tricks: Review this section to gain extra insight when dealing with problems related to the sub-topic

5. Learning Tools: We have created repositories filled with activities, demos, additional content, and more simulations for practice and additional studying

6. Student contributed content: This is a place for students to add any physics related content they find and share it with others.
