You should have read through the Getting Started tutorial that walked you through the workings of the class and had you read the entire syllabus. From here on you should primarily just need to access the course calendar on boxsand or the syllabus page on Canvas. If you get stuck with questions about the course, go back and look for answers to your questions under the learning tools or course syllabus. 

Right now the next step is to take the Introduction Tutorial Quiz which includes questions about the syllabus, the BoxSand survey, and two assessment test (only PH201) that are required but do not affect your grade. Upon successfully completing the Tutorial Quiz to a satisfactory level, Canvas assignments for most of the term will be unlocked and you can start your routine of pre-lecture, lecture, and post-lecture work. The Introduction Tutoral Quiz is located in the calendar on the course homepage, which is a single page with every link you'll need for the course.
